Furthermore, we empower and encourage communication and collaboration inside our network, we allow room for error to ensure an easier learning curve and inspire leadership and proactiveness in members of our commitments and we encourage traveling and learning about other cultures throughout our network.
I have been an active member of EESTEC LC Bucharest for five years, organizing local and international events (academic conferences and workshops, exchanges, motivational weekends), both for students of Politehnica University of Bucharest and other students across Europe, that are part of EESTEC network.
EESTEC is an international association, and between 2014-2015, I was part of Board of Directors, as Vice Chairwoman for Publications and Administration, responsible with production and improvement of promotional materials, promotional projects of EESTEC International, branding, social media and PR, supervision of work of the following EESTEC International Bodies: Design Team, Magazine Team, International Bureau.
Currently, I am an EESTEC Trainer. As part of EESTEC Training Team, which is a group of trainers ready to deliver the very best trainings aiming to teach soft skills, develop characters, pass on knowledge and continuously improve our association and support its growth on both local and international level, I have delivered several training sessions to students in fields of Communication, Conflict management, EI, recruitment, etc.
The Electrical Engineering STudents’ European assoCiation (EESTEC) is a non-profit student organization of and for electrical engineering and computer science students from universities, institutes or schools of technology all over Europe that award an engineering degree. EESTEC mission is uniting all electrical engineering and computer science students across Europe to empower them to reach their full potential in their academic, professional and social lives.
EESTEC LC Bucharest is a committee of this network. I have enrolled since my first year as a student, as I identified myself with the mission, vision and values of the organization.
Being part of something bigger, being able to contribute and grow together with other students with whom I am sharing same interests and passion is an incredible experience, and I recommend to each student who has an NGO in their university to invest time, energy and passion into their complementary education.
Graduates of Faculty of Automation and Computer Science have multiple opportunities in the work market, as the studying program is offering a variety of courses in fields of automation, systems' engineering, project management, programming, graphics and networking field. There are multiple job offers, such as software developer, business analyst, project managemer, system administrator and many more, all in all everything that is connected with the technical field and cyber-physical systems (Internet of things, etc).
Faculty of Automation and Computer Science is designed for students with a strong academic background in the fields of physics, algorythms and math, and who are eager to learn and become the engineers of tomorrow. The complementary education offered within Faculty of Automation and Computer Science creates a competitive environment and a high quality learning experience.
