I always knew I wanted to study and live in one of the greatest cities in the world. The fact that the city was the campus and you were so ingrained in the city drew me to NYU and their MCC (Media, Culture and Communication) Program really suited me and my desires the best.
Because there is no campus, social life is a little bit harder to cultivate in NYU compared to other smaller universities or universities with campuses. In NYU, one might have to go out of their way to meet other students because there are no dedicated spaces for just students other than dorms and class buildings.
To always be ready to try new and different things, to be prepared to live in a bustling city that's always moving, to have a warm winter coat because New York City is a cold state with a lot of rain and snow and to above all, try to pace themselves with their experiences. In New York there is so much to do that students might feel overwhelmed with the choices and want to do them all at once. It's great to remember that there is 4 years ahead of you to do everything you want.
We believe that the more experience we have, the better career choices we make; but, the information on careers are scarce and hard to obtain. To solve this problem, Tell'bout provides a platform for people to share their experiences that help others to decide which career path to pursue.
