One, is to define what is it that they want and two to understand more about the HR function and that is why internships are extremely important. You should not just wait till your last year of studies in order to do your internship, you can do your internship from your second year, third year that will give you a better understanding. Another advice that I would give them is when they are doing their internships, to take advantage really of the time and the opportunity that this organization is giving to them and in order to not just do the job that they are there to do or the project complete the project but to interact with people and understand what is it that they do. Lastly for anyone who would like to start to create an HR, my personal advice, start by the recruitment function in an HR world. I think this is the best the gateway in order to understand the HR function but also to understand the business partnership because when you start matching the role and the person the right talent then you are on the right track.

Number one, make sure that you join a business that is consistently growing that has a sustainable growth and that is always having big plans because this means that you will be able to grow with the company more and more. Secondly, join a company that treats you as an owner and not just that as a number or an employee, or just as an employee. Join an organization that treats you as an owner and not just a number or not just as a simple employee but rather as a real business partner and as a real contributor to the business growth. And thirdly, what is really important as well is make sure that all the values that you personally have, make sure that they match with the organization that you will be joining.

That is a combination of the business side and the human side, it helps you to see the picture. One of the things where it has helped me a lot is in the business partnership area, where I'm able to understand for example the business processes how it works what is needed in order for us to get the the results at the end or what is needed in order for the business to grow definitely Industrial Psychology helped me in understanding that and it goes without saying that it helped me a lot in understanding people, understanding why for example this employee might be reacting this way or when they have a personal issue, how much how that might affect their performance that productivity in the workplace etc. I think it's a great addition to the HR skill set however it's not the the only one, there are many other let's say additions that could help.

To start a career in Kraft Heinz, you would apply for any of the vacancies that we have published. The process initially will be a selection through the talent acquisition process or let's say the talent acquisition team will contact the candidates. They will do the assessment or they will do the interview and then there will be a short list where the line manager of the specific department will then do the interview and then there will be a committee where the applicant will present either project or an assignment and they were presented to the committee and then he or she will be selected for the role. If we are doing the recruitment over here in Dubai and then definitely however if the recruitment happens in Turkey or in any other location then the relevant team will be traveling over there and we'll be doing the assessment or the interviews over there. But definitely starting a career with Kraft Heinz is not necessarily limited to one function so if you start in the Finance Department that does not mean that you will necessarily remain in the Finance Department, if you have affinities for another function or you would like to develop into another function or role and that is possible at Kraft Heinz.

Human resources has the function itself has changed over the years so it started initially as an admin role and then it evolved to be what is called personnel and then came the new wave of human resources and today what really excites me about this function let's say is that it's a real business partnership, is that you can see working in human resources, you can see the changes, you can witness the changes even after so many years and you can see the achievements that you have done across the years when you for example work on developing a certain leader which is part of the talent management and talent development and then you see this leader after so many years becoming the CEO of a company or the CFO or any let's say that has any leadership role that is the real excitement of it and this is what what makes me proud of working in Human Resources.
